Groups and Classes

We recently started two new groups facilitated by qualified mental health professionals. Transformations is an HIV support group open to people living with HIV. Family members and loved ones are welcome to attend one meeting per month. We also have a support group for women living with HIV. CLEARCLEAR (Choosing Life! Empowerment! Action! Results!)

CLEAR is a one-on-one life coaching program. We match you with a trained counselor to help you identify how YOU want to improve your life–and make a plan to get there. Get up to 12 sessions free!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Hope for HealingHope for Healing

This confidential support group is open to individuals living with HIV/AIDS who also have a co-occurring substance abuse disorder. Hope for Healing is supervised by a qualified mental health professional and meets every Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at ASG.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

ThriveProject Thrive

SISTASISTA (Sisters Informing Sisters About Topics on AIDS)

Alive & Aware

This confidential psycho-educational and therapeutic group is for anyone who is HIV+.  This group will be an extenuation of the Alive & Aware Wellness Retreat and will focus on self-empowerment, self-advocacy, and wellness. This group is facilitated by a trained mental health professional.

Storytelling Project

Write, act, or help produce a theatre production based on your individual stories of living with, being affected by, or being at risk of HIV/AIDS.

WRAP

Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP) is a six week course which will help you learn tools to keep yourself well each day, create an action plan to help you avoid crisis, and develop a plan for how you want to be cared for if you ever are in crisis.
