Emotional Wellness

Emotional wellness is all about developing skills and strategies to cope with stress. Your emotional wellness is also tied to your financial, social, spiritual, occupation, physical, intellectual, and environmental wellness. Life is full of setbacks, and often success is determined by how you handle setbacks. Knowing how to problem-solve is a great way to manage stress, conflict, and dilemmas at the workplace, at home, and within yourself.

Try using SMART problem-solving. Often writing down these steps or talking them through with a friend can help you reach a decision about how to solve a problem.

S = State the problem

M = Make a goal

A = Actions–list the actions you might take

R = Reach a decision about which actions you could take

T = Try it and review it.
