7:30 AM – Walk and Run Registration
8:00 AM – Community Health and Wellness Fair is OPEN!
9:00 AM – Walk Steps Off!
12:30 PM — Community Health and Wellness Fair closes

Maps will be provided to all participants at check-in. Walkers can expect plenty of amusing and entertaining surprises along this year’s route.

AIDS Walk 2011 Route

The AIDS Walk 2011 5K route winds through the Downtown Mall, Corner District, and Main Street of Charlottesville. Everyone is welcome at the Walk. Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable shoes and clothing.

No minimum distance is required on the Walk and a shortcut route of one mile is marked. We will have water stations along the route, and lunch and entertainment, including the Community Health and Wellness Fair will be provided immediately following your completed Walk.
To receive a Charlottesville Challenges AIDS Commemorative 2011 T-Shirt we ask for a minimum of $25 in fundraising per participant (provides two (2) HIV test kits). Walkers will also receive the following prizes at each donation level achieved…

• $100 Above items plus; AIDS Walk/Run 2011 Stainless Steel Water Bottle
• $250 Above items plus; enter to win a prize from local businesses and restaurants

The top fundraising team will win a team dinner at one of Charlottesville’s best local restaurants!
